TDK Electronics AG
In your new role you will ...

be part of the MAG Business Group and work on the development of the Industry I 4.0 / Digitalization Operations IT strategy, pursuing the goal of driving the digital transformation of our factories.

  • You will support the BG MAG I 4.0 experts with OIT topics and take over the coordination with other business groups of TDK Electronics AG (TEG) if necessary
  • You will support the Operation IT teams of the factories in their I 4.0 activities
  • You are responsible for the continuous OIT exchange with the global production sites
  • You develop the OIT competences for the digitalization of BG MAG
  • You exchange ideas with the other OIT leaders of the MAG BG on the need for new common production software/tool (incl. benchmarking, standardization and strategy definition)
  • You analyze future data architecture solutions to ensure big data analytics in the production sites
  • You will be responsible for interface definition and implementation of IT to ensure state of the art communication between systems
  • You will participate in the implementation and optimization of new and existing processes (OIT) at the production sites
  • You will work on various special projects with BG management and the CFO of the BG (including coordination of ensuring cyber security in the plants)
  • You report directly to the CFO of the Business Group
You will succeed in the role because ...
  • You have completed a degree in technical informatics or industrial engineering, business informatics electrical engineering or a comparable training course
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in OIT and engineering in the context of an industrial environment
  • You have experience in agile project management (experience with Atlassian tool stack would be an advantage)
  • You have an understanding of software/hardware engineering and excellent knowledge of interaction between systems (such as MES, SAP, SCADA, robots, AGVs, machine learning basics, etc.)
  • You know how to deal with (big) data handling (e.g.: data lake, cloud applications and data mesh approaches)
  • you have gained experience in the realization of software projects in an operational environment
  • you have a deep understanding of relational databases (preferably MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Your strengths include an analytical, results-oriented mindset as well as a dedicated way of working
  • you are a team player and have good communication skills
  • you are customer and service oriented
  • You enjoy working internationally and are open to an intercultural working environment as well as international travel
